I have been in a relationship with my girl for a little over 1yr. From the beginning she always bringing drama. I love her and want us to workout but it seems the more I bend and do the worse she acts. She does not work and is always asking for something. I don’t mind doing what I can but its making me short on my end. I have tried to talk to her a gazillion times. She will act right for a minute but she goes right back to her regular self. I love her. She wants to get married and have kids. I love her and want to make sure that I am not making a mistake".

Everyone “acts up” at some point or another in a relationship. That’s just relationship 101. None of us are perfect. Though, the fact that you two have been together for only a year, the issue of her bringing “drama”, and the boldness of her “always asking for something”, with no expectation of repaying you, is disturbing.

Generally, when “we” are not behaving accordingly in a relationship, our partner brings it to our attention. It then becomes our choice to correct the problem, or ignore a situation that is upsetting our other half. Kevin, if there are other circumstances that are factoring into your issues in this relationship, please provide me with that information. Until then, given what I have; your girlfriend appears to be an immature, self-centered, inconsiderate, drama queen! In a nutshell, she is a USER!

I understand that you love her, but you must love yourself first. The fact that this situation has affected you to the point where you are seeking advice is very telling. Without a doubt, you deserve better.

Kevin, since your girlfriend refuses to fly right, I’m going to suggest that you ship out! This woman is going to taint and blind you to True Love.
